Jose Bosingwa is injured and out for up to 3 months, making Branislav Ivanovic a great choice. Previously Ivanovic was a rotation risk, but since Bosingwa has been out Ivanovic has played a truckload of minutes. In the last 5 games, he has picked up 4 clean sheets. Further, with Ashley Cole also injured, Ivanovic's spot in the squad is even more likely to be cemented.
Chelsea have just come off some tough games, and aside from Arsenal at the end of November followed by Man City, it is a largely golden run through the Christmas and New Years fixtures.
Ivanovic has looked like he might sneak away a goal, so there are possible points from that category. He doesnt look like much of a bonus point earner, however with his cheap price tag and his current favour with the manager, you really cant go wrong.
Chelsea are in fine form at the moment, and at the bargain of 5.6m his price is sure to rise in the next few weeks as well. This week see Chelsea at home to struggling Wolves, so the opportunity for yet another clean sheet is very high. Definately a bargain not to be missed!
